Acceptance and eligibility
By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Protegy, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Protegy for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it. Do not use Protegy if you cannot agree to them.
License and permitted use
Specter Apps Inc grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Protegy on compatible Apple devices under these Terms and the App Store rules. Protegy is licensed, not sold.
Subscriptions and billing
Protegy may offer weekly, yearly, or other auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation. A subscription renews unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings. Any trial or refund is governed by the offer shown at purchase and Apple's policies.
Security features and user responsibility
You are responsible for protecting your device, master credentials, recovery codes, and independent account-recovery methods. TOTP codes and VPN access reduce specific risks but do not prevent every attack. Protegy cannot restore a third-party account if you lose all recovery methods.
VPN acceptable use
You may not use VPN features to violate law, infringe rights, distribute malware, attack systems, send spam, evade lawful restrictions, or interfere with networks. VPN availability, locations, speed, and connectivity may change and are not guaranteed for every service or region.
Prohibited conduct
You may not reverse engineer Protegy except where law permits, bypass security or subscription controls, probe or disrupt systems, introduce malicious code, automate abusive access, impersonate others, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use Protegy for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
Third-party services
Protegy interacts with Apple services and may link to websites or account providers that we do not control. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, and authentication interfaces apply separately. Service names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and do not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Intellectual property
Protegy, its software, design, brand, text, and original content are owned by Specter Apps Inc or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license expressly stated in these Terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Protegy is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, universal compatibility, or protection from every security incident. Specter Apps Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, lost data, lost profits, account lockout, or third-party conduct. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Changes, suspension, and contact
We may update features or these Terms, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, misuse, or service operation. The revised date will be published here. Questions may be sent to the support address below.
